MARCH MADNESS

Beware the Ides of March…that’s what they say, but a month that includes the first day of SPRING just can’t be all bad!  In fact, it seems a cause for CELEBRATION!  Not only do we have the arrival of spring, but on the 14^th we “spring forward” into daylight savings time and more light!  More light means more flowers, greenery, smiles and upbeat attitudes.

It seems easier now to start imagining the warmth of the sun on one’s back and the smell

of rich soil as gardens are prepared.  March also brings us the fun of St. Patrick’s Day, basketball tournaments and the religious holidays of Palm Sunday and Passover.  And maybe best of all, we’ll soon be rid of that feeling of being “cooped up” inside day after day.
